Will You Sing in the Shower

stones and ocean

From:  Second Firsts.com

It has taken me 40 years to discover FLOW.

To understand the beauty of living with ease.

The magnificence of singing in the shower.

The divinity in walking a little slower,

and smiling for no reason.

Grief robs you from the ease of life.

You forget that living can be easy.

Living can be easy.

You forget that feeling alive is your birthright.

And yes I will admit this to you, only very recently I

remembered.

I remembered what it feels like to have that ease in your life.

Where good things happen out of the blue.

Where you are at the right place at the right time.

And everything just happens without you having to try,

having to struggle.

Having to move mountains.

Instead you swim with the waves, and you move with

the ocean’s flow.

Imagine that?

Do you remember a time in your life when things were easy?

Let’s go there together.

Let’s visit your past self and remember how it was to fall in

love with the world,

Just because.

How it was to laugh out loud while standing in the kitchen.

How it was to play.

You see my dear friend,

you were born this way.

You were born to sing in the shower just because.

You were born to be lucky.

You were born to create spectacular visions and act on them.

But you forgot that living with ease is part of your DNA.

It is part of being human.

Now how do we go from trying to move mountains to

swimming with the waves?

I have to admit to you this is not easy.

It should be, but it isn’t.

The way I see it, the only way back to living in the flow is

when you give up trying.

When you give up banging your head against the wall.

When you stop trying to change other people.

When you let go of the past and start living in the present.

When your future is not the bad guy whom you are afraid to meet.

When you let yourself burst into tears and let your self scream out loud.

When you become yourself by doing what your heart desires.

Then life has no other option but to come back knocking on your door.

She heard you sing in the shower.

She saw your beautiful body swim in the ocean.

She met your heart through your tears.

And she fell your love for the people you could not change but chose to love regardless.

Life fell in love with you again.

She stopped trying to fight with you. And moved right back in.

Will you do me a favor and sing in the shower this morning?

With so much ease,

Christina
