12 Spiritual Thoughts from Dr. Wayne Dyer

Have a mind open to everything and attached to nothing.

Don’t die with your music still in you.  This is your compassion and purpose.

You can’t give away what you don’t have.  The universe responds with the same energy we put out.  Give yourself love and respect.

Embrace Silence. This is nature, meditation, etc.  God’s voice is silence and peacefulness

Give up your personal history.  Give up self-pity.  There are no accidents.  Every spiritual advance will be preceded by some kind of fall or seeming disaster (dark time, broken dream, tough episodes, seeming disasters, illness, abuses, etc).  They all had to happen.  Transform them in your own way.  Let go of guilt from the past and worry about the future.

Life is like a play with several acts.  Some of the people who enter have short rolls and others longer, but they are all necessary.  People hang on to pain to justify their self-defeating behavior.

You can’t solve a problem with the same mind that created it.

There are no justified resentments. You need quality of thoughts.

Treat yourself as if you already are as you want to be. Be mentally faithful to yourself.  Say first what you want to be and then do what you have to do.  Act as if it is already a reality.  Be, do, have.

Treasure your divinity. Think of everything as a miracle.  Don’t disconnect from God.

Wisdom is avoiding all thoughts that weaken you.  Nothing is unless your thinking makes it so.  Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create that fact.

What you are thinking about is the source of your reality.  Happy thoughts create happy molecules in the body.
