The Law of Least Effort
From: Chopra Center
The Law of Least Effort: Nature’s intelligence functions with effortless ease, with carefreeness, harmony, and love. And when we harness the forces of harmony, joy, and love, we create success and good fortune with effortless ease.
I will put the Law of Least Effort into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:
- I will practice acceptance. Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. I will know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I will not struggle against the whole universe by struggling against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are this moment, not as I wish they were.
- Having accepted things as they are, I will take responsibility for my situation and for all those events I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and this includes myself.) I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alertness to opportunities allows me to take this moment and transform it into a greater benefit.
- Today my awareness will remain established in Defenselessness. I will relinquish the need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. I will remain open to all points of view and not be rigidly attached to any one of them.
I love this, Velinda. I have actually copied, printed it out, and will have this text before my eyes every day. I feel peaceful after reading this post:). Thank you.
Thank you…I will post more. I love the Natural Laws of Life myself…
I am looking forward to learning more. I have just started my blog, where I shared a little experiment I undertook to artificially change the natural flow of events in my life, and it didn’t go without consequences for me:). If you’ll get a chance to read my post, I’d be very interested in hearing from you on what you think about the chain of the events that unfolded after my “study”. Thank you in advance, Velinda.
I would first have to ask what your purpose is for your blog and what the message is you are trying to relay in writing. People are addicted to making life better, positivity, having second chances and all the wonderful things in life. There needs to be a focus on a particular theme and what it is you are looking to attract? If it is positivity, it needs to stay positive. That is not without opinions and values if you want to state a point.
However, don’t let anyone discourage you. Expressing opinions for a better world is a great effort. You write well…do something with that. Talents need to be expanded. I would say, find your passion and your talents and go with it.
P.S. I write about all this in my book if you are interested…or you can simply continue to view this site…
Thank you so much, Velinda, for taking the time to read my post and give me your feedback and advise. I’ve started this blog for me, sort of like a diary book I never had:). I am a professional songwriter, rhyming comes naturally to me, but I had never written a book, or even a story. My purpose at this point, I guess, is to share my thoughts with the world, to exchange ideas, and, to, hopefully inspire and get inspired in the process.
I’ve Liked you on the FaceBook, so now we are officially connected… lol
Then take it from why you started the blog and see what develops. When you come to a theme for your blog, then you can develop a purpose…but it’s not necessary if all you want to do is share your thoughts. However, since you have the talent of songwriting, I would encourage you to work with that on your blog. That is a great talent to share! You never know what can happen when you have passion as your motivation.
